At Long Last Love is being released on Blu Ray this week as an Amazon exclusive. I have just learned that the new addition to the movie which was previously unseen from the theatrical release and television airings is the soft shoe dance Alpha to Omega (pictured above courtesy of William V. Madison) with Madeline!

The 1975 Peter Bogdanovich written & directed musical “At Long Last Love” starring Burt Reynolds and Cybill Shepherdis coming to Blu-ray Disc in a “Director’s Definitive Edition” on June 4th, 2013 via 20th Century Fox Home Entertainment. The film, which featured music written by Cole Porter, co-starred, Duilio Del Prete, Madeline Kahn, John Hillerman andEileen Brennan. Tech specs for the release include full 1080p Hi-Def video in the 1.66:1 aspect ratio and DTS-HD 1.0 Mono Master Audio sound. The title is available for PRE-ORDER over at Amazon with a $21.99 price tag. Bonus materials set to be included on the release are listed below.

Hopefully ‘definitive edition’ means a complete film with the missing musical numbers featuring Madeline that were cut from the theatrical release.
